We’re still trying to figure out what works best for us, being a combined ebook/podcast/newsletter project and all, and with such a cool logo that we can’t help but put it on hats and stuff, we’re also launching a merch store soon. Here is how you can support us and get this ebook going.
This Substack (the platform we decided was the best fit for the podcast and newsletter) exists to help launch the Willets Pen ebook (which does not fit on Substack). To do that, we thought out a whole bunch of perks levels, and… put them on the ebook pre-order site.
Why didn’t we just put them on Substack? Well, Substack has the benefit of offering very simple pricing, but at the cost of diminished customization.
Over at Gumroad, all of the prices one-time only. You’ll get a certain length of Substack subscription based on which package you choose, ranging from $9 up to our full ebook launch goal of $15,000 — the Uncle Steve package.
If you order at Gumroad, just create a free account on Substack, (you see the big orange button, yes?) and we’ll upgrade you, assuming you used the same email. If you use a different email on the two sites, just let us know at admin-at-willets-pen-dot-com and we’ll get it sorted out.
You’re also welcome to do a paid subscription here ($9 monthly, $86 annually, $170 for a Substack-exclusive array of perks). If you do that and buy a package over at Gumroad, and we’ll credit you accordingly on Substack.
