Aaron Judge adjusts. He adjusts again. He adjusts the adjustment. He read somewhere he is to address the ball, and he is about to take the advice literally, to the studio audience's glee and my impotent rage. Right now though, Judge is continuing to gyrate without moving his feet. Finally I scream, GET ON WITH IT! I think of threatening him with an all-expenses paid trip to the friggin' moon.
Aaron Judge will hit his 61st home run of the 2022 season. Eventually. Or not! Wouldn't that be something? It would definitely be something, alright. He has a little less than two weeks before the regular season ends to break Roger Maris' record for the "legitimate" single-season home run record, which every network and streaming platform euphemistically call the "American League record." That seems like a long time, but keep in mind Judge has been stuck on 60 dongs for 17 years. I'm kidding. I am also very much not kidding.
