Project ShaqBox Trivia: On December 11, 1987, the Mets and Yankees made a rare trade, with Rafael Santana going to the Bronx, along with minor leaguer Victor Garcia, for Steve Frey, Phil Lombardi, and Darren Reed. Maybe there’s a reason these teams don’t trade a lot.

Santana might have swung a big stick but he wasn’t much of a power hitter, with only four home runs in his entire time with the Yankees – one healthy season, one marred by injury.
